When will a Fully Working Version of Wine for Mint 21/Ubuntu 22 Come Out?

I can't help with your question. I've been using Linux for a week now. I've tried installing this mythical program Wine since then. Done six installs and uninstalls, it doesn't appear anywhere as a program you can use. The best I got was when it appeared in the list of installed extensions, but that was it. Do people really mange to install and use it? It appears to be popular, so I would have thought it would be something that installs and runs. I may have to format the PC and go back to Windows. Wasted too much time on this.
