I'm running 4nec2 version 5.8.11 (yeah, this is three revisions down) on Ubuntu Mate 14.03.1 using wine 1.7.33 and get the enclosed error when I do a frequency sweep ( several models tried) and then try to close the gain/vswr/impedance (F5) window. If I minimize the window and then do a simple calculate on the far field and make the window go away, all is fine. I just updated to 5.8.14 and ran the same model antenna (an inverted vee) and got the same results. Running the same model on a Windoz 7 partition, I don't have the problem, but 4nec2 runs much faster on Wine in my Linux environment.
Code: Select all
Error is:
Error9: Subscript out of range
Source: Vb4nec2
Dll error: 6
I'm hoping that someone can give me an idea as to how to configure Wine so that the problem goes away.
