I am using Linuxmint from version 11 to 16 actually
but the last time that I install wine in version 16 of linuxmint I have a problem
wine not detects linux printer installed , i could print without problem from linux but not from wine
wine give an error message ( No printer installed in this system ) BUT yes it is installed
I tried to delete .wine directory and strat from scratch but always is the same
I am tried the devel version and stable version of wine , but nothing change
Any help ?
Sorry about my bad english I am an spanish speaking Guy

Problem with printer on wine ( linuxmint 16 )
Re: Problem with printer on wine ( linuxmint 16 )
Are you using a distro package, or did you compile Wine yourself? If you compiled it yourself, did you compile with CUPS support? If your system is 64 bit, do you have 32 bit CUPS installed?
Re: Problem with printer on wine ( linuxmint 16 )
My system is 64 bits I use PAckage from ubuntu repository as you recommend in donwload
and I try the package from Linuxmint too
I would check about 32 bits cups

Re: Problem with printer on wine ( linuxmint 16 )
I don't see 32 bits CUPS packages on repository from Linuxmint
How can I check this
This is very strange in old versions in this same machine 64 bits
i never have this problem

Re: Problem with printer on wine ( linuxmint 16 )
Ask on the Mint forum which package you need to install for 32 bit CUPS support. You need it to print from 32 bit apps running in Wine.

Well , I resolve the problem deleting the printer installed using mint tool
and installed the HP network printer using the tool HPLIP
Now the printers appears on wine
