Trying To Use Wine For First Time

As my name implies, i am fairly new to Ubuntu and have installed Wine for the first time.
Follows all instruction to the letter and Wine seems to be installed.
Selected my windows drive- no problem.
The problemis that when it asks me to select my applications, I do not see them on C: drive.
I run Windows7 on 2 SSD's w/raid0 and Ubuntu on a 500GB ws caviar .
What am I doing wrong?
