mouse not working in FSX

Is the mouse still broken in Flightsimulator X? Tried in 1.6.2 and even updated to 1.7.20 ppa.

Instruments are not clickable according to the latest AppDB entry.

There's an open bug report about a mouse issue in Flight Simulator X.
If this is the cause of the instruments not being clickable, a workaround is to compile Wine without xinput2 support.
If this is not the cause, then a new bug report should be filed for your issue.

Thanks and yes, I know about xinput2. It's broken for years...
Currently I'm stuck here:
