Wine Hearthstone help ( new user)

Good afternoon,

I'm a proud owner of a HP Chromebook 14.

I have installed Xfce4 on it, with crouton.

Anyway, im totally new to all of this and I just wanted to see if i where able to get hearthstone running on it.

I have installed battle.net with vine and when i want to play hearhtstone ( press play) i get the following error:

error while initializing dbghelp.dll, getlasterror: 'Succes'

funny thing is, i have turned it on disable on my libariers of wine

Nothing funny about it; disabling it is why there's an error initializing it.

You didn't mention what Wine version you're using. The battle.net bug that previously required disabling dbghelp was fixed in 1.7.14; if you're using an older version, upgrade, and reinstall to a clean wineprefix. According the the AppDB this game does not require any tweaks in current Wine.

Im using 1.7.17 out of my head. atleast one of the newer versions. I removed the dbghelp from the libery and got a new error now.. this one is quite big.

You can check the Wine version by typing

in a terminal.

That's not Wine output. Please follow the FAQ instructions I linked to above to obtain a log.
