Hi,
I bought a new PC Desktop but i've not yet a screen for it so i use my screen TV with the HDMI. i configured Pulseaudio to use HDMI (sound plugin on Gnome 3). Result :
- On my system (Debian Sid), i have sound everywhere (Youtube, VLC, gnome sound)
- When i test sound on winecfg after to choose the good output (HDA NVIDIA -HDMI 2), i have sound.
- But when i launch a game (AC Révélations) : No sound in game...
I don't understand where come from the problem.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Max

Re: [Wine 1.7.11]HDMI problem
Hi Dimesio,
I found something. On pulseaudio plugin on Gnome 3, i can only choose the NVIDIA HMDI DisplayPort 2. With it, all works (youtube, Gnome sound, VLC etc...)
On winecfg, i have the possibility to choose NVIDIA HDMI DisplayPort 0,1,2,3 . On Audio tab, for each DisplayPort the sound test works. But i have sound in a game ONLY with the DisplayPort 3.
Why Wine does not use the same DisplayPort than Gnome 3 and PulseAudio plugin ?
