Sims 3, max speed not working

I have recently installed my original copy of the Sims 3 in my PC the following way:
I created a new virtual drive from play on linux and installed some dependecies to it (.net framework 2.0 [with both SP1 and SP2], flash, gecko, C++ visual redistributable 2010, IE 6) and the libraries required for the IE6. Then I configured wine to work as in Windows 7. Then I installed it as I normally would on windows and encountered no problems whatsoever. When I launched it, there were no bugs.

The problem is that the maximum speed in play (the one represented by the three side arrows) does not work, I mean it goes at the same speed as the first or second arrows. Also I get this brand going across the screen whenever there is water or a mirror near. I suppose it is a reflection but I had not encountered that on Windows. Lastly, Sims 3 Launcher does launch at first but closes immediately afterwards. How can I solve this issues?

Sidenote: I did not installed the Sims 3 through the playonlinux game menu because I faced some issues when doing so.

Wine version? If it's not the latest development release, upgrade.

You have installed a lot of unnecessary native dlls. IE6, in particular, is more likely to break things than fix them. The only winetricks mentioned in the AppDB howto as being needed for this game are dotnet20 and vcrun2005sp1. Reinstall to a clean wineprefix following the instructions in the AppDB.

Thank you dimesio for your answer. Ok, I have done as you said and installed the program again with wine 7.6 into a 32 bit partition. The launcher no longer crashes but is slow as hell, is that normal? Furthermore the maximum speed does not work, is basically the same as the second speed. Is there any command I must run for this to work appropriately?
I have not installed Origin or any update yet, should that fix it?
