How To Istall WIne?

Hello Everyone, Please keep in mind I am new to ubuntu. I need to know how to install Wine
Also do I need wine to install things on this pc? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank You

Install it with your package manager, the same as you would any other package. If you don't know how to use your package manager, ask on the Ubuntu forum; that's not a Wine question.

You may want to install the ppa, to get the latest version either wine1.6 or wine1.7 https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa
