No disk inserted?

Whenever i go to run the game through wine it says no disk inserted when there is? wondering if anyone can help please, thanks

I have exactly the same problem. Everything went well so far: installing Wine, making wrappers, running installers etc. But when I want to run any game I get an error that says there's no disk etc. I use Mac OSX 10.7.5 and I've read some articles in the FAQ about this problem, but my Terminal.app doesn't recognize all the commands used there… I'm not that familiar with coding etc., so can someone please explain me how to fix this?

A lot of copy protection schemes that need the disc just do not work at all with Wine.

What most people do is find a crack for the game that lets it run without a CD inserted and bypass the problem altogether.
