Hi everybody
Im relatively new to Wine so I might need everything explained thouroughly.
Im running evernote via wine on ubuntu 12.10. I recently tried to update evernote but got worse performance from the latest release. Now I wanna go back so I tried uninstalling evernote. When trying to install the older version of evernote i get the following message (roughly translated from danish):
Evernote was already installed by a different user. Only one pr.user installation is supported.
An administrator can install evernote to everybody after pr-user installation is removed.
Can you help me?
Jonas

If there's nothing else in that wineprefix that you want to keep, just delete it and start over. If there are other apps installed there that you want to keep, install Evernote to a separate wineprefix. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#wineprefix

Thanks for the quick response. I've tried to remove Wine via both the software center and synaptic and then reinstall it. Unfortunately I still get the same message.
Any ideas?

Reinstalling Wine does not delete the wineprefix. You have to do that manually. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-cf92baf ... 05caaf9c0a
