Mouse trouble in halo combat evolved.

I am attempting to play halo and mouse jumps all over the screen seemingly random. I was just wondering if anyone knows a fix for this. I am using wine 1.5 on Linux mint 15. I am really new to Mint and and this is only my second time using wine. I have a lot of experience trouble shooting issues like this, but can't seem to fix this one. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

After a little most testing it seems the mouse is avoiding the center of the screen and is hyper sensitive.
