my eve online sees my graphics card as a GeForce 8300 gs

after a lot of trouble getting EVE online to work it sees my graphics card as a geforce 8300 gs while i actually have a nvidia msi gtx 660 ti power edition

so how can i make wine recognize my gtx 660

i hope i can get helped because i love my new ubuntu and wine but i am a complete noob with it atm so before i screw things up too badly i hope i can get help

You must be using an old version of Wine; that was fixed in 1.5.20. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31947

Upgrade to 1.6 or later.
