cant install wine 1.6 on mint 15, 64 bit

i tried to install wine 1.6 and 1.7 in my mint 15 64 bit operating system through ppa and also from software manager.
from software manager it stop after prgressing some %.
and through ppa, i got several error msg several times.
can any one help me to install the wine on my mint 15 64 bit system.

thnx for ur quick reply, but unfortunntly i cant understand this ''Ask your distro'' what does it means, and what/who is distro. please explain, this is my 1st day with linux.


meanwhile i tried to install wine on my mint 15 (32bit) through software manager, it installed sucsessfully, but why not in 64 bit.

"Distro" is short for distribution, i.e., the flavor of Linux you have installed. Apparently that's Linux Mint, so ask for help on the Linux Mint forum. Packaging/package manager issues are not Wine issues.
