Hi there,
recently I've upgraded from wine1.5 to wine1.6rc2. Since then, I have issue with games. Only applications work.
Simply, I want to start a game, for example Unreal Tournament 3. When I run $ wine UT3.exe , game starts, but I can hear only sound, no windows appears. Also I use Docky, which is program where you running programs and UT3 was minimalized. When I clicked on the UT3 icon it dissapears, but game is still running. I can only kill it with command.
I tried everything... Making new prefix (64bit and 32bit), Checking appdb, downgrading wine to 1.5 and ALSO I reinstalled whole system... I only left /home because I cant copy data to any external sources. Also I upgraded to wine1.6rc5. But why everything worked about a month ago?
My specs:
Linux Mint 15 (Olivia) x64
Intel Core i3-3220 (3.3Ghz x4)
8GB 1600mhz RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX460SE driver 310.44
And if it helps, I'm using Compiz on Gnome classic
Thanks for any help:)

I can hear sound of menu but I just cant see the window, even I can't see icon of UT3 in the Docky on left.
Following screenshot shows that game is running:

I just dont know why... This game worked just fine... And as I said before, I reinstalled not only wine but whole OS. This is really weird:/
On old OS (Linux Mint 14) I was using nvidia driver 304.88, so I tried to downgrade, but it's still same result. It stopped working since update and now, I can't get it to work... I don't want to delete whole /home folder :/
Re: Wine wont display anything.
The terminal output looks pretty ordinary.
Does it work if you disable this "Docky" program? Also try disabling Compiz.

Well... Disabling compiz 3D cube desktop solves the problem.
Thank you so much dimesio, I would never think about disabling compiz features.
