hey guys
ive read extremely conflicting issues with origin. but i dont have the download available ( australian bandwith limits ) to test it right now. so i thought i'd come here and see if anyone has got a clear answer.
Some people have said that origin has trouble in linux with wine while installing games, accept a phew people have claimed that if you kill a certain process, that the install whilst hanging at 99% will finish
So im curious has anyone got past the bug's with origin and had games such as battlefield 3 and medal of honor working in wine

There is a newer bug about being unable to download any EA Origin games that has a patch in it that has been reported to fix part of the problem for some people: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31438.
The place to check for whether specific games work is the AppDB. It doesn't look good for Battlefield 3; Medal of Honor installed from a dvd appears to work.
