Upgraded Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04 and Wine is laggish
Hi there, boys and girls,
I have upgraded Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04 on MacMini2.1.
And D2 in Wine is now sluggish. Is there any way to fine tune something or do something like reinstall of Wine / D2 in it so that it becomes a bit more snappy? Because all the rest of the system is kinda working good.

thanks in advance,

Re: Upgraded Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04 and Wine is laggish
not sure what solved it.
but in wine configuration for the D2 i have switched wine version from 1.3 to system.
And also have run 'D2VideoTst'.
One of the two, i think the first one, solved it.

Re: Upgraded Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04 and Wine is laggish
It worked because you switched from an obsolete Wine version to a more recent one.
If you have any future issues, please test in the current development release of plain Wine before posting; PlayOnLinux is not supported here.
