graphics not being rendered correctly

Post by Iain Mcmurchy »

I've been using Circuit Wizard for some time. It's been perfect up to an including 1.3.34. However, all subsequent versions since 1.3.35 have had incorrect rendering. For example the symbol for a resistor is only showing one wire connector whereas it should be showing two, one at each end of the resistor.

Seems like a regression to me maybe something to do with the DIB engine.

Any suggestions.

I'm using slackware 14.00.

Do "all subsequent versions" you've tested include 1.5.19? If not, test in 1.5.19. If the problem is still present in current Wine, run a regression test and file a bug. http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting

Is there a reason you waited a year to report this?

I've so far tested up to and including 1.5.18. Will give 1.5.19 a try. I've tested on ubuntu 12.04 and slackware 14.0 both show the same problem.

A bit embarrassing that it's taken me a year to upgrade to a version that shows the problem. Can only blame being too busy on other projects. Though now I've got plenty of time on my hands having just left work :D

I've created a bug report -

Bug 32444 - Incorrect graphic rendendering when using Circuit Wizard

In it I've also reported that the incorrectly rendered circuits still function and print correctly.
