I'm trying to install Python 2.7.3 under Wine (so that I can use PyInstaller for it), but the MSI is giving me the error that the installation ended prematurely due to an error, but doesn't specify the error at all.
I should note that this is on Ubuntu 12.10, 64 bit, and I'm using the 32 bit MSI for Python.
Anyone know what's going on?

Hi,
the usual advice would be to upgrade to latest wine, run from command line and post terminal output. If there's no obvious error message in the output, you'll have to file a bug.

Yeah, I added the Ubuntu WineHQ PPA, and installed the version from that, and it seems to have worked.
