How do I install a file needing admin privileges?

I tried to install Real Player, but when I did it said I couldn't because I lacked admin privileges. How do I work around that? (not just for real player but any exe that asks for admin rights)

First, PlayOnLinux install scripts are not supported here; if one fails, ask for help on their forum.

As for Real Player complaining about administrator, there's already a bug filed for that: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23628. The workaround is in the bug report.
