I wanted to play GW2 on my 2011 MBP but in OSX that just doesn't seem like a possibility. In the newest Wine 1.5.12 it gets 2fps and has botched graphics. In Crossover XI it does the same thing. In bootcamp it gets a solid 30-45 fps with settings on medium.
Now I need to get rid of this trash, but I am new to osx so I would like to know the best information.
XScope: This thing is almost 2 gigs uninstalled and over 3 gigs installed. Is dragging it to the trash sufficient?
Macport: It's not even in the Applications list!
After I installed these two I ran this command "sudo port install wine". This downloaded, compiled and installed stuff for over 3 hours. Where did all that go and how to get rid of it?
XQuartz: It's not even in the Applications list!
Crossover: Will just dragging it to the trash fully remove it?
How to uninstall on osx: XScope, Macport, XQuartz, Crossover
Re: How to uninstall on osx: XScope, Macport, XQuartz, Cross
Crossover I just removed the app.
Macport had an uninstaller, yay!
XScope seems to have had one in 4.3 and below but not 4.4.
Not sure on Quartz yet.
