PDF Annotator (software to add annotations to any PDF)

Hi!

There is a very usefull software to annotate into PDF called PDF Annotator. I tried a couple of times during the last years but it never installed. Same here:

But recently I downloaded the test version here:

I installed into a new wine-prefix and there was no problem at all. It even starts, but I can not open a PDF, I get

"OLE error 80004001"

Any ideas?

Besides that, wine is great. I recently installed Word 2010, hey, that simplifies my work a lot.

I filed http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31206
for your problem. 'winetricks msxml3' works around it here.

I can draw lines on pdfs with it, but not text. You might want to
file a bug for that problem.

I can't even draw lines. I remember a conversation with the guy who wrote that software years ago and he said something like he built it upon tablet software of Microsoft.
