Building wine from source
Building wine from source
I am trying to install wine 1.5.5 from source. It seems to be working so far, but as far as I am concerned it has been compiling for a very long time.
It is almost 12:00 pm where I am at and I think it has been nearly and hour of two since I started.
Is this normal? Or have I done something wrong? Thanks much!

Thank you.
Would it help if I made sure that nothing else was running while it compiles?

Wine is not desktop integrated
Thank you. It installed successfully and completely.
But I don't know how to desktop integrate it using its desktop integration file. Does anyone know how to add it to menus?

My Wine install has no theme!
How do I find .msstyles for my wine install?

What part of that didn't make sense? As a user of wine you should atI went there already but it didn't make sense.
minimum understand where the default wine prefix is ".wine/drive_c"
and how to create folders on your linux machine. If not start by
reading the FAQ.
