Re: New Wine
The latest stable Wine version is wine-1.4. Wine is available for download here: http://www.winehq.org/download

Wine 1.4 stable
Thanks for your reply but when I go to the download page there are many choices which is the right one? I am a senior citizen, not a programmer so it is not clear to me, as to which one to click on.

Wine 1.4 stable
Macports sounds interesting but buildiing your own Wine is probably beyond me, having read the notes. Is there an easier way? My main problem is getting Sopcast to run on my Mac, I am not worried about games. I have a Mac Mini with Lion OS X 10.7. Can anyone please help?

Do NOT use WineBottler. It is 'dead'...livefortoday6491 wrote:Try one of the third party apps. http://wiki.winehq.org/ThirdPartyApplicationsMacports sounds interesting but buildiing your own Wine is probably beyond me, having read the notes.
