movie label 2012 on mac

Post by jaspack »

Hi,

has anyone tried to port movie label to windows yet? I tried it several times, but I always get this error:

err:module:import_dll Library fontsub.dll (which is needed by L"C:\\Program Files\\Movie Label 2012\\MovieLabel.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\Program Files\\Movie Label 2012\\MovieLabel.exe" failed, status c0000135

Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure what fontsub.dll is, but apparently its something that program is looking for... and your going to need to add.

Thank you for the help, I added the fontsub.dll, so now it doesn't throw an error on the missing dll, but Movie label just crashes as soon as it has started.

This is the log file:

Make sure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly.

I think it has something to do with libpng, but I don't know what it is. Does anybody know this error?
Thanks!

its a problem with the X server.

I assume looking at the log (and he libpng warning) that your actually using Wineskin... several of the engines were compiled with an older version, but the most current version WineskinX11 has a newer build, so that error is really common right now in Wineskin, but have yet to ever see it cause a problem.

If its Wineskin, you can ask for support over on the Wineskin support forum, and we can figure out why WineskinX11 isn't functioning.

If its not Wineskin, well, you need to fix your X11 installation. I'd suggest getting the latest version of XQuartz and installing it to use.

I am indeed using wineskin to port the program. I will ask the same question on the wineskin support forum.
Thanks for the help
