Hi there. I'd like to know if there is a way to get the deb package of wine 1.3-32. At the moment I compiled it by myself but this is not so easy for mostly of the users.
There's more than a reason to use this specific version for my purposes.

Note that it's not possible to have different Wines installed on a
machine without compiling (unless you start fiddling with path, env
variables, ..., which is even more tedious than plain compiling IMO)
For Ubuntu packages, there's http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/Hi there. I'd like to know if there is a way to get the deb package of wine 1.3-32. At the moment I compiled it by myself but this is not so easy for mostly of the users.

http://www.winehq.org/download may help as a starting point.
I don't know about binary packages, but there's a link there to
tarballs on sourceforge IIRC.
This is somewhat easier than using git to compile a specific version.
Note that you should preferably use a wineprefix for each wine version
used, or might run into (additional) problems.
.deb found on wine.budgetdedicated.com *may* work forThank you a lot.
Do you know of any other site where I can find other distros packages?

Since I'm going to write a short thing about using wine for a particular program, I was looking for a place where everybody can find the suitable package for his/her distro. But I was looking exactly for wine 1.3-32.
I can use different wineprefixes for different programs and I can use different wine versions, thank you anyway for your warnings.
Thanks to you I can point ubuntu/debian users, I'm still looking for rpms. No other packages I think I need, if someone uses slackware doesn't need any help..

Packages are created and maintained by the distros; the links on the Downolads page here are provided as a convenience. As for archiving old packages, it is up to each distro package maintainer whether or not to do it. Most don't.alekseevic wrote:Since I'm going to write a short thing about using wine for a particular program, I was looking for a place where everybody can find the suitable package for his/her distro.
