winecfg opens IE after update

For the last three Wine updates I have run (1.3.23, .24, and .25), the
first time I open winecfg after the update it opens what looks like a
blank Internet Explorer (I think, never used it so I'm not sure) and
then opens the winecfg window. The Explorer window closes easily with a
click on the 'x' in the top right corner as expected, but I find the
behavior very disconcerting. Is there a setting I can change to keep
this from happening?

This has happened for a long time... if you have IE installed (never seen it with just Gecko) when you change Wine versions and it runs an update to the wine prefix, for some reason it opens a IE window, its done this for many versions, but I usually only see it if IE is actually installed.

Good to know, thank you. Not sure what I did that installed IE, but at
least I understand what is happening now and that it isn't broken. Thanks.
