OK i am quite new to ubuntu 10.04 and wine 1.2.3... i finally got WoW RUnning but the fps rate is lower than when i had on windows. and it seems like alot of my graphical features arent working.. I have a nvidia 9800gt video card. ANd i am also wondering how to run AIon.. i got the ncsoft launcher to install but i can not get the ncsoft launcer to open so i can install aion.. ANy help will be usefull. THank you..
and if you know how to fix either of these issues, you will have to dumb down the explination alot..because i am still new to linux.

Hmm, I remember something a while ago about Ubuntu packages followingOK i am quite new to ubuntu 10.04 and wine 1.2.3
their own numbering scheme so it was hard for users to be sure what Wine
version they had. If your wine 1.2.3 is Ubuntu numbering for Wine 1.3.23
or higher you are okay, if that really is Wine version 1.2.3 then you
are missing out on many patches and fixes that have been added since
then. I think in Ubuntu you can check your Wine version through clicking

then you can get the latest version, which was moved up to 1.3.24 on Friday.
Since these are development builds, programs that worked with 1.3.23
might not work with 1.3.24 due to changes that are partially implemented.
