I have tried installing tasbooks 2 from CD and the installer ran fine but no icon or star file appeared after finishing install.
Does anyone have any idea how to get tasbooks running with crossover?
Thanks for your help.
P.S. the software is working fine with parallels. Since I am on a trial version of parallels (and crossover for that matter) I need to decide which on use in future.
I would prefer Wine obviously but if I cannot get this application running on my mac I have no choice.

Crossover has its own support forum. Ask there. This forum is for plain Wine.triscleeire wrote:Does anyone have any idea how to get tasbooks running with crossover?

WineHQ and crossover
Hi dimesio,
sorry, I am confused.
I was guided to WineHQ in order to be able to run Windows software on my Mac. Should I have downloaded another software rather then crossover?
I am an end user not a developer, hence I know little to nothing about how any of these work.
Thanks

Re: WineHQ and crossover
Crossover is a commercial product based on Wine. They provide their own support to their customers. If you are using Crossover, you need to get help from http://www.codeweavers.com/support/.triscleeire wrote:Hi dimesio,

Other third party Wine products (Wineskin, Winebottler, etc.) also provide their own support. This forum is for users of plain Wine only. For Mac users, that means building Wine yourself.
