MS Office 2010 - Installation Error

I need help to install MS Office 2010. When I start my installation using Wine it gave me an error message that it doesn't contain MSXML Version 6.10.1129.0 .

Please HELP.

Sounds like you're using an old version of Wine. Upgrade to the latest development release, and follow the instructions in the AppDB. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=17336

Be aware that while you can install Office 2010 in Wine, there are still lots of bugs. Office 2007 works much better.

I have updated the Wine Version.

Tried to install the Office 2010. But failed. Then according to your advice I installed Office 2007. Then it was installed easily. But I can't enter the license number. I have a valid license Key... But I can't enter any character there.

Need your help to validate my office Key.

Did you delete ~/.wine after the failed Office 2010 install? You should have. If you didn't, do that now and reinstall Office 2007 following the instructions in the AppDB for Office 2007, http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... n&iId=4992. (A new ~/.wine will automatically be created when you run the installer.)
