Problems with C&C3 - HELP!

Hi all.
I'm trying to play Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, and i have 2 problems:
1) CNC3 via Wine -> all looks perfect but no mouse pointer.
2) CNC3 via Cedega -> i followed the "how to". And it works, but very slow.

Any idea how or why?

I'm running a:
Toshiba Satellite A200
Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy)
Wine = 0.9.59
Cedega = 6.0.2

first of all remove cedega
then check the appdb which has a solution for the cursor problem

Thanks for the reply.
O.K I'v installed Wine 1.0 and the Cursor is visible.
But when i start playing the game i don't see the battlefield, the screen is divided to 2 , the left is blue and the right is pale blue.
I see the mini map and the tool bar on the lower left of the screen.

can someone HELP me?

did you try setting winecfg to emulate a virtual screen?

O.K. I found the V.Desktop.
But there is no change.
I still see the half blue half pale blue.

i had similar problems in other games that were all solved by a virtual desktop. i don't have any further ideas what could cause that...
my c&c3 works pretty well, although quite a bit slower than in native windows.

Hi ppl.
I reinstalled Ubuntu, but it didn't work.

any way, I reduced the level of the graphics in the game and I got a visual of the battlefield.
But I want more graphics...
Can someone help?
