Hi there
I've been using latest (development, 1.1.25) wine on hardy some time ago, but now I am on Jaunty and I have encountered some problems. Wine is up to date, although.
First was the trouble with graphics, but thanks to this topic it was solved.
Next problem is the reason for this topic creation.
When I'm launching Starcraft, connect to battle.net and then quit Starcraft, gnome session just closes, it logs out and welcomes me with username request.

If you are using Nvidia - try reinstalling the driver.

Re: Starcraft logs out from gnome session
Yes, they are seem to be buggy. Because they didn't do well out of the box. I had to tweak it a little according to the howto I mentioned above.Austin987 wrote:X is crashing. Buggy video drivers.
They are buggy, but what I have to do with it?
No, that's not NVIDIA. It is Intel. And it has some issues on Jaunty.James Huk wrote:If you are using Nvidia - try reinstalling the driver.

Wait till they get better. If you're using Ubuntu, Karmic Koala should have a lot of Intel driver issues fixed.areskz wrote:Yes, they are seem to be buggy. Because they didn't do well out of the box. Also, you said you tweaked some things in order to get it working a bit better... Some tweaks give you major speed boosts, but less reliability (meaning more crashes). Try playing with these settings a bit more until you find a safe middle ground that works at decent speed.
