Running from a disk image

I am trying to install my copy of Medieval II total war from the disk image. The initial setup works fine but halfway through the install it asks for me to insert the next disk containing a file. The second disk is mounted and i designate the path to the appropriate file, but i get an error saying
"setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk
Please check that the proper disk is inserted or try a new path"

i am completely stumped, all the files our there but the setup wont find them. both images are configured as cd - rom

any suggestions?

It may be using some copy protection and not like the level of cd
emulation you're providing. Try with your real discs.

Try mounting both at the same location?

Use cdemu?
