Hello all,

I installed and patched (patch 1.02) Assassin Creeds thanks to PlayOnLinux. I can launch the game, i have the video introduction but after, i have a white screen and Wine crash.

I don't know the causes. My graphic card (ATI 4850HD), Direct3D option in the register?

Please help me.

PlayOnLinux is not supported here. Ask them.

However, that problem can usually be fixed if you set the VideoMemorySize var in the registry. I should also say that, AFAIK, you can install that game perfectly in Wine (w/out POL).

Check this link for how to set the VideoMemorySize setting to whatever your RAM is.

But remember that PlayOnLinux isn't supported here!

My option Direct3D in the Registry are :

AFAIK, you can install that game perfectly in Wine (w/out POL).

Maybe you can install it perfectly but i wouldn't call the gameplay perfect.
1) you cannot rotate with mouse about 360 degrees
2) you cannot set ORM=fbo
all this is not a problem when installing with POL

I never said the gameplay was perfect, but I don't seem to have those problems you described here. At least not with my current Wine Install.
