A Large Wine Company in Upstate NY is considering leveraging EScreenz, A software application that allows companies to deliver messages to all employees and workforce via idle computers screensavers. The administrative back end allows for the uploading of slides and content that is broadcast to all networked PCs through the screen-saver.
This application was first adopted by Hospitals...www.escreenz.net. Corporate Screensaver application with Push capabilities.
My company would like to make this product better and get feedback from other wine companies...does anyone have any feedback

That's not a helpful response. If you don't have anything nice to say,..................D00FUS........................D00FUS..............D00FUS...................D00FUS..................D00FUS...................D00FUS
Leverage this. Make this your corporate scrolling text screensaver message.

Wine currently does not support screen savers.EntreCS wrote:A Large Wine Company in Upstate NY is considering leveraging EScreenz, A software application that allows companies to deliver messages to all employees and workforce via idle computers screensavers.
You'll have to implement missing pieces if you want windows screen sever to work under Linux WMs.

Was anything changed in recent Windows version when it comes to screen savers?EntreCS wrote:Wine currently does not support screen savers.A Large Wine Company in Upstate NY is considering leveraging EScreenz, A software application that allows companies to deliver messages to all employees and workforce via idle computers screensavers.

As a temporary solution (that will probably last quite a while), can't Wine just be made to be able to open and run .scr files directly as if they were EXE files? I understand from old WWN issues that the whole plan for screensavers is to somehow integrate it into Xscreensaver (which seems as simple to me as adding one single screensaver that can be bound to any .scr file found in Wine directories, possibly being able to open .scr config window too), but there's a lot less functionality needed to at least allow the files to run, right?
