Wine + WoW = having graphical issues

even since I installed Linux and Wine, it seems as though graphically WoW does not seem to be running as smoothly. i have the latest edition of wine. I have tried running wine configured in XP and Vista but it does not seem to make a difference. it could be that i need to configure wow differently since i am using linux with wine. if you guys know of any tricks to make wow run most smoothly please let me know ( i have already lowered wow to lowest graphical settings)

This problem seem to disappear with WINE-1.1.23 - animation is smooth and I can't see any graphical issues.

If you still see them in WINE-1.1.23, try this:

wine WoW.exe -opengl

It will start WoW in OpenGL mode - works perfect.
