microsoft powerpoint won't start on fedora 10.

hi fedora 10 newbie here.

im sorry if im double posting. if i am. please post me a link.
my problem is, i have installed MS office via wine.but its seems that im not able to launch MS powerpoint.

the weird part is. i can open up other MS office programs such as. MS office,MS excel and others.

i dont think that my graphic card is giving any problems either.

my specs are fedora 10 i386,8600 m gt,

please help,thank you in advance.

Office 2007? Run 'winecfg', go to libraries, and add 'riched20' as native.

now. another problem poped out.

after i did what u mentioned. it worked. perfectly.

but only once. then the second time after i restart my lappy. it wont boot up ever again.

i have another question. how do i open up ppt files.? it just wont work for me.

You mean you can't open them from power point? Or can't double-click on them outside of Wine?

yes. ive tried double clicking the ppt. files in a normal window.

and i have also tried. to make a cpoy of my icon of ms office powerpoint and put it on my desktop. then. i did the "open with" function with the application on the desktop.

so. both of them did not work.

and. vitamin. please help me out with my second post on this thread.

output is they will give me an error window. which is whether to send or not send report.
and there is a restart powerpoint window in safe mode.
i did everything. but it didnt seem to work.
what should i do now?

Run it from a terminal and post whatever messages appear. If long, use pastebin.

That's the background. Your application should show in front of it.

Powerpoint 2007 should run fine in 1.1.15. It'll even install in 1.1.15, which is more than can be said for 1.1.23.
