As some of you probably already know, the PlayStation 3 supports Linux. That brings a question to me: can I run Wine on a PlayStation 3?

As Linux itself is near dog-slow on the PS3 once you get into a GUI (dueknow how usable Darwine for PowerPC is for running x86 apps? That

You could post a guide on the Wine wiki to document the details incase anyone else is interested.Celcius1 wrote:I have been working on a few things, and myself and fellow YDL users have managed to get Wine working on PS3 to a rudemntary level, but the graphics drivers in use are still developmental

PS3 Linux doesn't have full access to ps3 hardware. So you can manage to get it working under ps3linux - but it won't help you in native ps3 games.
Also, it will work excruciatingly slow with linux games - because of the hardware problem.
