HI has anyone got wine64 to compile with mandriva 2009.1/

or am I on new ground ?
it produced a Makefile but the build failed, the sigserv patch mentioned
in the wiki failed to load.

Do you have a new enough GCC?

Are you sure it is wine64 which you want? If you just want to run 32-bit Windows apps then wine64 is not what you want it will only run 64-bit Windows apps and second it is far from ready.

Yes I'm coming to the same conclusion. I've got wine 64 to build, but
haven't found anything that will run on it.
Windows is so primitive linux will way ahead for a long way.

There are a few win32 apps I'd like to be able to run, what do I need
to install to run them. The wine rpms are only for i586 from MDV so
they wont install.
So I'm wanting wine that will install on this 64 bit sytem and run 32
bit win apps

Then compile wine as 32-bit. You'll need 32-bit compatibility
libraries, but should work fine.
