Winamp Jaspers linein plugin

Hi
Im running Winamp with Wine 1.0.1 and need to use Jaspers linein plugin 1.8
Has anyone managed to get this running?
I cant even get the linein plugin to work in a virtual windows XP

Ive managed to get the linein plugin to work but with problems.
The only audio driver that works,and most stable is esound.
There are no crashes but the sound is very stuttery.Even when I test sound in wine its the same.
Im using wine 1.1.13 in ubuntu studio intrepid.
Any suggestions on how I can ge the sound smooth?

See sticky post about no sound. You need to disable/kill/remove pulseaudio. It conflicts with Wine.

I now have wine sound working on a fresh install of intrepid with my onboard sound.
Ill take note of pulseaudio when I try my other soundcards
