I usually use Wine 5.x on Debian Stretch. Now I am testing a Debian Buster installation with wine-staging-amd64_7.17~buster-1_amd64, obtained from the wine-staging repository.
Well, how do I run it?
$ /opt/wine-staging/bin/wine64
err:environ:read_nls_file failed to load /opt/wine-staging/bin/../share/wine/nls/locale.nls
err:environ:read_nls_file failed to load /opt/wine-staging/bin/../share/wine/nls/l_intl.nls
Also, where is winecfg? It' is not installed by the package.
The Buster repository has its own wine-staging, but that package wants to uninstall a bunch of things including jackd2 and that is a major deal breaker. I absolutely need jackd2.
