I'm a new Debian user and my friend helped me set it up, so he messaged me to install wine which i did without any problems, but then when I was installing the DirectX driver this error pops up

Similar error also pops up when I do winecfg but it starts the winecfg anyways

Normally, there is no need to install DirectX drivers in Wine. Occasionally it may be necessary to add a Microsoft DirectX DLL file. The best way to do this is to use winetricks.
It is likely that the installation of DirectX removed some DLL files. You can try to repair your Wine prefix with:

If that doesn't help, you can create a new wineprefix.
