Witcher issues

not sure if this is how I can ask for help but ill try it this way anyways.

So I installed The Witcher and loads but there is no sound and when it gets to the main menu there is nothing being displayed except for the cursor of the glove.

OS: Ubuntu Hardy
Wine Version: 1.1.7

Did you follow the instructions in the AppDB for whatever version of Witcher you have? http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... n&iId=6019

I have gotten the sound working but still just goes to a black screen at the main menu. The output is now:

Have you created a bug report for this problem? This is where all of
this needs to go. Please review present bug reports and if one does not
exist for your difficulties, please create one and attach your terminal
outputs to it.
