Mailbird doesn't show mails.

Post by whizzi »

Hi,

I'm trying to get Mailbird working on Wine 8.0.1. So far, the whole installation works and nearly everything works flawless thanks to this thread.

However, I cannot read any e-mail! It just stays at 'Loading message' and then blaming me for a slow Internet connection (which isn't). Oddly enough, the source of the e-mail is readable. Calendar items are fine. Reply or Forwarding has no change, I cannot see the actual contents of the e-mail.

But, it does show the first line if I change the view a bit. I tried the latest version of Mailbird and one older version (2.9.92). Both in 32bit and 64bit mode. It seems to me a weird render issue. Changing the setting inside Mailbird to render directly on hardware makes no difference.

Here's a bit of output I get on the terminal:

Code: Select all

Anything I'm missing here? I'd really like to use Mailbird, Thunderbird works but I am way faster in Mailbird.
