My OS is Ubuntu20.04, and try many days to configure locale, i18n, ibus,all the related things I ever know to solve the problem, wine still not recognize Chinese characters, when I input Chinese by ibus, wine apps such wechat, notepad++ forece the input to English. the most weird thing is that other applications such chrome, gedit, vscode,libreoffice, and even vim can input Chinese well under the same environment's setting. The chinese on the wechat's other parts show Chinese correctly, but the inputting Chinese via keyboard to dialogue box is not recognized by wine.
I search the related topics on internet, there are tremendous information on wine's unstableness to input Chinese or Japnese, the time ranges from 2005 to 2024, almost 20 years, and the version ranges from 1.4 from 8.0, on wine4.0, it was reportedly this issued was fixed, but on wine4.0,5.0,6.0,7.0, 8.0,this problem appeared again.
