To have virtual Windows drive D in addition to C

How can wine environment have virtual Windows drive D in addition to its default of drive C in WINEPREFIX environment
Tried mkdir drive_d seems that most Windows app. not detected as it didn't show it in the file dialog window

Please help clarify the solution

Virtual hard drives are shortcuts in "~/.wine/dosdevices".
You can easily create them with winecfg → Drives
