Teaching Textbooks

Post by Queueless »

Hello,

I'm a homeschool Dad looking to convert over to Linux for my kid's computers. We own nearly all the Teaching Textbooks applications and I still need to run them. I've gotten the application installed and running using Bottles, but it expects to find the lesson data on the cdrom it was installed from. I can confirm that I've mounted the iso file to the proper location and I'm able to browse the files using the cmd.exe. I ran the installer exe from cmd to ensure I known which drive it was installed from, but the application can't find the lesson data when a student attempts to log in.

What can I do to debug the problem and and make progress in getting this working? How can I get some logging to see if there is something I could do as a workaround?
