wine 1.1.7 + punkbuster

will wine still need to be patched to enable pb
im asking before installing so i will know if i need to get source or just debs for ubuntu

All patches are for source. You can't patch binaries.

Also keep in mind that those patches don't guarantee that PP will work in any game in all situations.
