After attempted installation of new program, existing ones won't start

Post by KenHorse »

Debian 10, Wine 7.0

Successfully installed a VB6 created program (which - of course - uses the VB6 runtime library) as well as several additional .ocx files. No problem installing nor running it.

Tried to install a 2nd VB6 created program and received multiple .ocx errors about not being able to register some .ocx files (some of which are also used by the 1st program) and now, the1st program won't start, no matter how I try to launch it. Of course, the 2nd program doesn't work either.

I am Linux and VB6 savvy but kinda new to Wine
