So I recently bought a headphone amp/DAC, and I've noticed that contrary to what I've assumed, Wine and most apps in Linux would automatically adjust the sample rate based off the source of the audio data, but it's not as straight forward as that.
After having switched from PulseAudio to PipeWire, I managed to fix some reliability issues I had with the former, and managed to fix the issues I had with automatically adjusting the sample rates. Now most apps work as expected. However I noticed that wine defaults to 48kHz no matter the source. Tried to play a few audio files with various sample rates, from 192kHz to 44.1, but they all still default to 48kHz.
Does anyone know what I need to do in order to get Wine to switch to the correct sample rate on the fly?
